I think it's now obvious that 93.1 The Beat has failed. As The Fox they were 2.5 but have now dropped to 1.2 and are tied with 2 AM stations (WHBE 680 and WKJK 1080).That's pretty bad.
And 105.1 which made a big splash at first is barely ahead of those 3 stations at 1.3. I wouldn't be surprised at changes for 93.1 and 105.1 soon.
WHAS made a good jump but that was probably because of the election period. And WQMF came back to earth and are almost tied with WSFR now.

Totally agree with a rock format on 93.1 AND 105.1!
Congrats to WHBE winning the sports radio battle this book over WKRD, I'm fine if they had PBP rights to one of the local teams

I wonder why 93.1 the beat isnt doing well? Usually two similar formats in the same city both usually not always do good.

Look at q103 and 98.9 radio now qmf n the 107.7 and the max n kiss. Of course some better than others. Hmmm

Of course lrs and the fox both loss there battle

Iheart just bite the bullet n give da ville a current rock station. Alt active somethin

Sounds like Charlie Steele is on the Iheart Radio Station "Rock Nation." Since The Fox HD channel simulcasts that station, they use local DJ's when he is on.

I thought Charlie was doing nights on WAKY now via voice track. The Fox has been using local voices on their HD channel since it went on. Shannon, Ian and Mudd, I believe.

Yeah they have been using some local voices. But the music is exactly the same as the iheart radio "Rock Nation" station. I could be wrong but is sounded like Charlie Steele's voice doing the "Rock Nation" station.

Could it have been Ron Michaels? He's from here and has been on both the Fox and QMF. He's on pretty much everywhere now except for here, ironically enough.
