Louisville Job Openings

Over the past few months, Mainline has lost two good, talented men in Gunn (if it's confirmed he has left) and Timm Jherard. Plus, all of a sudden the Mainline stations are not currently listed as Arbitron ratings
subscribers (their ratings have disappeared from all listings), even though they do decent numbers particularly with WGZB, WMJM, and WDJX...in fact, they were pretty good the last time they were listed.

Wonder what's going on in the Marmaduke Building?

FYI...The Mainline stations are re-listed, with WGZB and WMJM coming in at a very strong #3 and #4 respectively in the 12+ numbers, with WDJX in at a comfortable #7 overall.

By the way, the Louisville radio market is expected to hit the milestone of 1,000,000 persons in the 12+ universe very soon...the coming market re-calculations should also raise us a couple of radio market rankings (we're now #54).

I sort of wonder why 99.7 WDJX beats out 98.9 Hit music Now? Other than its heritage roots could it be the air personalities?

Heritage?? I guess so. Old enough here to remember it as KJ-100!

I remember standing at the "showcase studios at 307 west walnut" looking thru the glass while listening to the WKLO AM/FM simulcast.
much later...my dad was fond of beautiful music WCSN 99.7    now stay off my lawn.

WAKY's sister station Big Cat 105.5 is looking for jock. Great on air skills, sterling production and strong remote skills are a must. Contact Rene Bell at 270-766-1035.

Noticed that Mainline's top 3 stations are absent from Arbitron again...a Louisville 12+ book without Urban or UAC in the top 10 means only non-participation in that particular book-you know they're there in the unabridged subscriber private survey. Is Arbitron getting that unreasonably expensive?

Arbitron has been unreasonably expensive for 20 years. I never blame someone for not subscribing.

In Mainline's case- can they subscribe to the full book but skip the trends to lower costs? That's what I figured was going on. I expect to see them in July when the spring book comes out.
