Louisville Public Media cuts 7 employees, downsizing twice in less than a year
After an expansion period, Louisville Public Media is cutting costs by 17% in personnel and programming.
It looks like Louisville Public Media is really hurting lately and had to eliminate seven employees, this is the second round of cuts in the past year and they're already expecting there to be more.
On WFPK, Otis Junior and John Timmons both took buyouts and their last day was of Friday. They're filling the holes by extending everybody else's shift by one hour as well as moving Kimmet Cantwell (currently on Sundays) to weekdays.
