Looks like the switch at WRKA was a good one and the one at WLGX was not.100.5 is tied with WAY-FM now.
WESI made a little improvement and "Dave Ramsey 1080 WKJK" had a big drop.

I think WLGX is just a ticking clock, waiting for the format change. I'm at a point now where I see WESI as having a better long term prognosis than WLGX. WLGX had a respectable fan base (myself included) who stuck with it... and the format change did nothing but infuriate those listeners without pulling in any new listeners. Now they've become a generic station that doesn't have any local feel to it at all, and is playing songs that people would rather be listening to on WXMA or even WDJX. If they were on a crappier frequency, they could get away with those numbers, but the 100.5 frequency is too valuable to be wasted on what is now the second lowest-rated FM in town.

And oh yeah, it's OCTOBER! We are less than three weeks away somebody flips to Christmas music (though it could happen as soon as tomorrow for all we know)... will anybody not flip back on December 26th?

Glad to see WLGX doing so poorly. They treated their listeners poorly and I guess thought they could stay on our presets by trying to be a DJX clone. I give them another month and then a flip to Christmas.

WLGX was #2 on my presets (WXMA has been #1 for as long as I can remember), but not anymore, as I recently replaced that preset with WTFX (as I'm actually starting to like the tweaks they've been making). I thought that I'd be able to tolerate the new WLGX since it sounded like they were going to be similar to WXMA, but there is just something about the actual music they're playing that seems to be more WDJX than WXMA. And WDJX hasn't been on my presets in over a decade.

Usually clear channel is pretty smart the way they do things but the way they changed the format on genx was badly done. Why would they try n compete against themselves by going after 98.9/99.7 kinda odd. Genx radio had alot of potential it is a shame it never was realized((( The fox needs to become live and local again for the premium choice has neutured that station. Djx please get rid of jackson blue and get someone live n local.
