Louisville Summer P1 Ratings 8-14-17

Ratings for Louisville Summer P1 2017. Interesting is that all iHeart stations are listed except 93.9.

Given the ridiculously high commercial loads most of these stations are running, it's amazing there's anybody left listening to any of them.

What i notice is QMF has almost closed the gap with SFR. HMMM HOW? Qmf is a terrible radio station? Maybe heritage means something but it certainly didnt help LRS 102 all those years ago when QMF was the new kid on the block. Louisville still needs a new rock station. I still say get rid of 93.1 the beat no one cares leave it to b 96 and make 93.1 a current rock station.

I was listening to WQMF the other day and there was this commercial break that went on for at least 10 minutes (it seemed that way anyway), I thought something was wrong at the station. The same commercials kept coming up over and over again in the same break, including this one that was in Spanish advertising something on Telemundo (which as far as I know, Telemundo isn't even available in Louisville unless you can somehow get it on DISH or DirecTV).

I've been finding mostly myself listening to WFPK and the two southern Indiana high school radio stations lately, WNAS and WJHI (Jeffersonville), as well as even WXOX (ARTxFM). WJHI has some pretty interesting programming blocks, such as an 80s hour at 8, a "featured artist" hour at 9, and an "easy listening" hour at 10, though it seems they sometimes don't follow those rules and go with something totally different even though they advertise it as being everyday.

OK... QMF's spring book was a 4.9, and Phase One of the summer is a 5.3. What that means is the first month of the summer book was slightly better than the first month of the spring book. But somewhere in the spring, QMF had a killer month, because they went from upper 3s to upper 4s from winter to spring.

It's likely the killer month was either the 2nd or the 3rd month of the book, and that month is going to drop off, either next time or in the final month. If that killer month isn't replaced by an equally killer month, you'll see them take a big drop by the time the summer book comes out, and they will likely be right back around 3.8 to 4.0 again.

Each trend is a 3 month average. The important thing to know about them is what the month that went away was like. So if you guys really want to keep track, you need to write the numbers down in your posts here so you have something to refer back to.
