Louisville's 1080

I'm looking for a format and call letter timeline (and optionally, a list of owners) for Louisville's 1080 AM. I know, of course, that it started out as WKLO and then became WKJJ in 1979. Today it's talk-formatted WKJK, owned by Clear Channel. But what was in-between?

Thanks.

It was WCII "Country 11" at some point, but I don't recall when.

Here is an attempt.....

WKJJ 5/79-1981
WCII 1981-87 (88) (Country then SMN Starstation and maybe SMN Pure Gold)
WDJX 1988-91 Simulcast
WXLN 1991-92 (an early LMA with WXLN-FM with religious)
WDJX 1992-1994 Simulcast
WRES 1994-1997 AP News/Burbank Afternoon
WHKW Country Simulcast
WKJK Classic Country/Standards/Talk

WRES 1080 only lasted until 7-15-95, when 107.7 WHKW started to simulcast on 1080. This lasted until 5-17-96, when Clear Channel bought 1080 and moved
''Real Country'' over from 98.9. The WKJK call letters didn't move to 1080 until 9-27-96. On 6-7-97 they changed from Real Country to Adult Standards and then
on 5-10-01 added Dr. Laura and Dave Ramsey (who were on WWKY). On 1-17-02, WKJK became all talk and remain so today.

Thanks guys! Anybody know who owned the station between Great Trails and Clear Channel?

I believe they were owned by Regent Communications. This wasn't quite the same company as today but a different form of Regent.

Here's another tidbit you might find interesting. Bill Bailey did morning drive for Country 11, WCII
