Please don't comment if you don't like the format, looking for an unbiased opinion.

I listen online and I like it. Its the closest thing to a Jammin' Oldies format like the one we lost in the Cincinnati area, the original WMOJ. I will say I don't believe I've ever turned it on without hearing "Too Shy" by Kajagoogoo.

It is a cross between the Jammin Oldies format and the Movin' format. Good alternative to some of the bad music on other stations.

I would listen on Saturday nights for the Saturday night dance party 7p-12a CT. Quite possibly the best old school mix show ever. They play everything. In a show you can hear anything from the Police, Hall & Oates, Toni Braxton, Haddaway, Marshall Jefferson, C&C Music Factory, Nightcrawlers, Rick Astley, Michael Jackson, Donna Summer, Cashmere, Madonna. It is amazing and one of Chicago's best secrets in a mix show!

The Dance Party Show did a 2.5 in the last book making it 16th...it should be a 3.2 or better in the next.......it should be in the top 10 by the winter book

They also added former B 96 vet Brian Middleton to part time/weekends. What a smart move. He sounds like he was having a blast on Saturday.

I never heard Middleton ..I have to check him out...But I wonder if they will do what NY & LA (KBIG-boogie nights) is doing let the mix jocks host their own shows...

Which is exactly what Lee did at WBMX on the AM side 20 years ago when they all had their own show which they hosted and mixed. day time shifts

I grew up in CHicago and head back their quite often. This is a pretty good station. Probably what most of the movin' station should sound like.
