Love FM reminds me of something

1996-2006 (September of 1996 so we're 9 months off) 2006 is the 10 year anniversary of when 103.7 WAMG Milwaukee AC "Magic 103.7" tweaked from Soft AC "Continuous Soft Favorites" to Rhythmic AC "Rhythm & Romance"

WAMG was first WEZW. Then became Magic sometime around 1994 (WILV became Love FM in 2004)

The Rhythm & Romance format was VERY similar if not almost exact to what they got going on Love FM now. WAMG just had a bigger playlist and they played currents unlike WILV is.

Just thought that was weird. If they wind up flipping to CHR in 2008, then that'll get even weirder.

It's like history repeating.

Oh yeah on another note the TV commercials for WAMG featured a lady in a bathtub like WILV's billboards did.

100.3 has "Lovenotes"
103.7 had "Lovesongs"

103.7's positoner "Rhythm & Romance"
100.3's format according to Guy "Rhythm & Gold"

and listening to 100.3 and 103.7 on the school bus (100.3) and in the car (103.7) 10 years ago are what changed me from some kid who liked radio to a complete geek but that's a different story.

I could also go on about how the current state of the music/etc on the CHR format is much like it was 10 years ago. With that in mind I can't wait for 2008. But again that's a different story.

Here we go again.........<P ID="signature">______________
