Love Nature to launch in US

According to c21 media 'Love Nature 4K is planning an aggressive expansion in the US and Europe over the coming months as its exclusivity deal with Smithsonian Channel comes to an end'. You have to pay to read it in full. Are all Love Nature original series broadcast on Smithsonian Channel in the US? I wonder will this be just a VOD service or a 4K linear channel also?
