Lovin the New WHTT

I never thought in a million years I would be saying this, but, WHTT sounds Hot! The mix of music they are playing is great, the DJs are some of the best on the air.. From the presentaion on down everything is tops.. I might not be the age group they are targeting, but alot of people my age are likeing what they are playing...Jim P. and company keep pushing forward with the station, you guys will be number 1 soon enough (Watch out WYRK). BRAVO HTT!!! This is what a radio station was meant to sound like!!!

Your compliments are genuinely appreciated. The credit goes to program director Joe Siragusa, promotions director Stacy Berent and an outstanding air staff featuring Bill & Gail in the morning, Harv Moore in the afternoon and radio pros on the weekend like Brian J., Tony Venturoli and Ken Palmer. And where would we be without great engineers like "Big Al" Marranca and Brian Stack! Thanks for listening. -Jim

Me too now that I can pick it up wayyyyyyyyy out here in phoenix, arizona! I do think they have a killer lineup and if only they could get Jackson to do a saturday night show that would be great!! I have found with this format whether you call it classic hits, variety hits, the jack format, etc.. it has to work with personalities. We have a station in town, The Peak and it sounds like a jack or a WHTT but what sets them apart is the personalities. They actually "talk" to the listener, hmmm imagine that. Jocks that can relate to the audience and not just tell them what they just heard or what they are going to hear. They also have a great marketing campaign for the station and their promotions are pretty good as well. Only one other thing I would love would be the reunited Taylor and Moore show. Man that would be crazy to hear that!! Good job though WHTT your station sounds great even way out here in the valley of the sun!

Seems like they are doing a fine balance between oldies and Soft A/C. Some of the music I'm hearing I'm pretty burned out on but that's just me. I don't hear anything that really turns me off. Where does this leave WJYE?
