Loving This Station to Death!

If only we had a station like Movin 99.7 in Phoenix! I'd be in heaven! If I died today, and they took my casket to San Fransisco and put a radio on Movin 99.7 with its current format state in there, I would stick around as ghost as long as I could because I would not want to stop listening! I would not go to the white light because what's the point in going there if I know I am going to be in heaven either way?

Why can't there be a set of stations like this nationwide? If it were up to me, by law, it would be mandatory that every state has at least one station with mix shows and DJ's like those on Movin 99.7!

It seems that all my life, I've always lived one state away from my favorite station! Atlanta.... Phoenix.... I guess maybe I should play the lottery, being that I haven't hit the jackpot and used up all my luck yet...

Everyone is making the MOVE to 99.7!

Its my favorite station. I have been listening since they took over KFRC in 2006. They had a Rhythmic AC format. It was great! Now they are a mostly CHR/Rhythmic and I still listen. its better than KYLD and KMEL!

How far is Movin 99.7 able to reach? Can it reach Orange County? If so, I might even consider coming back to LA next weekend with family just to be able to hear it over the radio! I can't remember the last time I was excited to go to LA based mostly on the radio stations they have there! Of course, KYLD used to be my favorite, but NEVER did I ever get to experience listening to it live on a radio. Anyone could play rhythmic top 40 hits, but the DJ's really complete the station.

Movin 99.7 cant reach Orange County. Its like 300 miles away.

Jose Melendez would be at home at Movin 99.7! KYLD is still ok, but has changed quite a bit over the years, and they no longer play anything in the mix that I cannot get here on Phoenix radio. There are quite a bit of songs that are missing from the 12 o clock noon mix shows, but overall, the DJ's there are doing much better at music selection than any other station I've heard, including my other favorite, WPOW Power 96.

I have no idea whatever happened to the new Throwback 93.9 The Mix that was supposed to pop up some time ago, but I think Movin 99.7's DJ's have already got that style covered in certain mixshows.

I'm disappointed that I missed the noon mix show today!! But I must also remember the past is gone and I should not get stuck on a certain sound. Times change, music changes as well, time for me to move on.... But still I say Movin 99.7 is great with the DJ's they have.

...To clarify, I was talking about Movin 99.7 DJ's.

...And now the noon mixshows seem to be gone! Not sure how much the other mixshows have or will change, but.. oh well. Like I said, times change... move on. There's a lot of current music to enjoy so lets let certain sounds and artists of the past rest.

Station is still pretty good though.

Amp 97.1 is the best station out here in L.A. in my opinion. I am enjoying all the mixes they have on Power 106, and Power does play more electronic stuff, but overall, I prefer to listen to Amp. I almost don't want to return to Phoenix with the type of stations out here in L.A, although it's not nearly as exciting as it was here a few years ago in L.A.

It would be interesting to see what Amp 97.1's mixshows would be like if they had some!

Actually, I think the Phoenix stations that are rhythmic have better mixshow music programming. I never thought I'd say this, but have a bit more to look forward to in Phoenix than I do in L.A. now, in 2009......

LET ME CLARIFY!

Amp 97.1 is the best sounding TOP 40 / RHYTHMIC format when it comes to playlist arrangement in my opinion, is more of what I meant to say. Power 106 is more fun though, but Amp would be the better out of the two if both Power and Amp were both judged without mix shows.

The best morning show goes to Power, out of all stations that play rhythmic or top 40 hits... even the same with the syndication in Phoenix.
