Low-Cost HD-R Promotional Receivers Coming

Big deal, that is only for broadcasters. Yea, and Struble is the one who stated that Amazom.com/hdradio is significant in the online retail industry for HD Radio, but look how poorly all HD Radios have sold on Amazon - he is the typical promotional CEO.

So he's as typical as Leonard Kahn talking about CAM-D? My point? The stuff you say about Struble could be said for most people running a business!

Yea, he a con-artist and I proved him a lier, about his comments that HD Radio sales were doing so well !

I don't think you proved anything. Unless, of course, you have a quote somewhere stating what he felt "doing well" was. Who knows, maybe he thinks that all things considered, sales are doing well. I sure think they are.

Go back and read my thread on Struble hailing HD radio - I have a direct quote from him, then I pointed out the very poor sales figures, for all HD radio on Amazon - proof !

Yes, but that quote doesn't say what he thinks "good" or "bad" sales numbers are. He may very well think that sales are good right now, considering all the factors.

Again, your "bad" can be someone else's "good".

You are playing on words again - he mentioned Amazon and said that they were doing very well on the consumer side of retailing - so, check this out, if you think iBiquity/HD Radio Cartel is doing good:

Yes, read Mark Ramsey's opinion. Then remember that it's one man's opinion. Then remember that according to the anti-IBOC folks you're opinion is wrong unless it's the same as Mark Ramsey's or Leonard Kahn.

Which is funny, because you have no idea who really posts here.

Anyway, you are saying that his opinion is wrong. Doesn't work that way...

Mark Ramsey's credentials are outstanding - I don't care who posts here, because you are wrong about IBOC. Mark must be pretty good, since he just spoke at the 2006 NAB convention - did you speak ?

So if you speak at NAB you are automatically smarter than everyone else? There have been plenty of "flavor of the month" speakers at NAB.

Plus, you don't know me personally. So you have no idea what I've done and not done.

You are right - dont' know, don't care ! I'll take the word of a well-known entertainment consultant, anytime !

That's fine, and nothing wrong with doing so. Let's not confuse opinions with facts, however. Even the great Mark Ramsey is not right 100% of the time.

Well, I talked with Mark personally, and in the case of HD Radio, he is 100% correct. And yes, if someone is invited to speak at the NAB, they are smarter than just about every one else. Mark's outstanding credentials do not make him, "flavor of the month" - I would consider people here, including myself, "flavor of the month". Although, you may be partially correct, with some people here indicating that the NAB is full of alcoholics.

No, according to the NAB alcoholics, they think he is 100% correct, and I know that for a fact, too.

Mark is an alarmist. He overreacts to things he thinks are trends, but that is good because we need people to shout out about such things. Then we evaluate with more calm and reason...

And plenty of widely divergent speakers are heard at NAB. Just because you speak there does not mean you are right. And you are definitely not smarter than everyone else. All speaking at NAB often means is that you owed a favor to the steering committee or one of the members, and you were going to be there anyway and that your company has no restrictions on being in the limelight. In many cases, speaking at NAB is shameless self promotion, and we get the good with the dreadful.

Actually, Mark is an IBOC supporter, which he has posted on his web site. Mark is a realist, and he is right on the money, with his opinions about IBOC.
