Low Power FM Stations

Hi,

I'm new to the site, but been in radio since 1978. Currently GM of a Houston daytime only AM station. With a AM/FM minidisc recorder player in my car, I catch some nice airchecks when I travel, but with gas prices, cruising the country is a bit expensive.

Being a fan of Low Power FM, I'd love to hear any of these stations listed below. Anybody live around these areas? Perhaps we could work out something to make it worth your time to get me an unscoped couple of hours.

SUWANNEE, FL - WZRO 93.1

FROGTOWN/DAHLONEGA GA - WFNG 100.5

NEVADA CITY, CA - KYRR 93.3

DIXON, NM - KLDK 96.5

PURGITSVILLE, WV - WHMG 98.7

BIG WELLS, TX - KHIA 97.7

PATAGONIA, AZ - KPUP 100.5

PACIFIC BEACH WA. - KXPB 89.1

GREENVILLE, MI - WDLP 93.1

FOSSIL OR. - KFSL 99.5

CUCHARA, CO. - KCQX 106.9

NEW CASTLE INDIANA - WHHC 107.5

VASALIA, CA - KVLP 101.5

Captain Cook, HI - KCOF 102.5

Greenville, SC - WWOK 95.3

Weimar, CA - KWMI 104.1

Bartlett, NH - WJSK 101.1

GainesboroCarthage, TN - WENV 97.3 (might not be on the air yet)

These two are not Low Power FMs. I have hours of WGRP/WEXC from the late 80s and was part of a group that wanted to buy the AM (WGRP). I knew Buck that ran KBUX from the 3rd bedroom of their home when it was an easy listening station run on big 10 1/2 or 14 inch reels.

Greenville, PA - WGRP 940 AM, WEXC 107.1 FM
QUARTZSITE, AZ - KBUX 94.3

Thanks. Hope to hear from you.

Hey Bill,

Tried to buy WGRP myself. Go and listen to www.theswitch.fm, one of the best sounding Christian LPFM CHR's in the country, in good old Indiana, PA

FOSSIL OR. - KFSL 99.5

I live about 70 Miles away from this station. Never heard it. I hope to get over to Fossil this spring and summer to take a listen. If I do, I will try to take a tape recorder over and record some of it and bring it back and post a link here.
