Have you ever heard KDLP 104.7 in Ace? SE and E Texas was part of my installation territory up into Nacogdoches. That is why I am still interested in BPT radio. I have to admit I had never even heard of Ace, but KDLP-LP shows up in the Houston-Galveston MSA list of stations. Ace is on/near Hwy 146 and FM 2610 in Polk County nearly at the San Jacinto County line. Tree Monkey Road is the road into town and the street names are; Bobby Bare, Roger Miller, Charlie Pride, Carl Smith, Kitty Wells, Dale Evans amoung a few others. KDLP is listed as Classic Country, no sshit. You might be able to get a bit of KDLP if you are on US59 a little north of the Shepard area. The low power stations listed in the H-G MSA/DMA are KDLP-LP 104.7 Ace; KDOL-LP 96.1 Livingston; KORG-LP 105.3 Cleveland {got the calls from Operation Reguge Gives} but you are right the calls sound like they should be in Orange, TX or Orange Co, CA; KPIA-LP 102.5 Huntsville; and KQLC-LP 107.9 in Brookshire, the closest of the bunch to Houston. Most of the stations have web sites and streaming or screaming audio.
