Lowcountry "Exclusives"

I always sit back and smirk at any station that mentions they have the EXCLUSIVE on anything, outside of sports anyway.

Like today, I was listening to Real 1340(WQSC) on the AM dial here in Charleston and they are a Fox News Radio affiliate for top of hour news. As I was spinning through the the other talk stations, it turns out that Newsradio 94.3(WSCC) ALSO has Fox News Radio as their top of hour news source.

I heard WSCC claiming it was "exclusive" on their station. Yeah, right. I know I've heard Fox News on WQSC for quite some time before WSCC picked them up. WSCC dumped ABC and the Paul Harvey bits as well(I'm sure of that) then picked up the Fox News feed as all ClearChannel stations have with the deal that was inked a while back. Then, Newstalk 1250(WTMA) picked up the ABC feed that WSCC dropped.

It just amazes me how stations will laud over themselves at times when it's uncalled for and not to mention inaccurate.
