Anyone else listening to 97.3 these days? Just when the ratings are starting to climb in the mornings with Tony Minor and Linda Thomas they bring in Radke and bring in long form news. I heard something yesterday that went on for must have been 5 minutes and Radke spends all his time talking about stories that are coming up and he seemed very fake when he was literally crying several times about Dave Niehaus. I'm not a KIRO P1, but spent more time listening this week. Yawn.
 
Radke's hire was the beginning of NPR-ing KIRO. Makes sense to me, tho - KIRO gave away the "news leader" image to KOMO, so why not try something different?
