"Owner changed mind..."

Sounds familiar. I had a CP for an LPFM until May. It's hard to be the only one in town who gives a rats rear-quarter about radio. When the first fundraiser failed to meet the $1000 goal in 30 days, I informed the FCC to put a big fat D in front of KOAV, Cañon City CO

If you're on Facebook, you might try putting the word out on the LPFM Tech Advice group...it is a closed group, but you can get admitted fairly quick. Some 300 + participants...

Thanks, Joe...You are right...I have been in commercial radio for 57 years...now I see that the LPFM frequencies are under-rated as far as their potential is concerned. The general public is into other media...that notwithstanding...I know of a few LPFM's that have been very successful...but you have to be ON THE AIR and dedicated to find out. That's what I am offering...a complete (almost) facility in one package. Thanks and good luck J Boyd

Very true...I made a promise not to go into debt to fund the thing. CP is just an intangible piece of paper. Built out, I think it would have worked, but it would be different if I had savings available. More important for the limited disposable dollars to help stuff daughter's college fund, I decided.

It used to be there was little worse as a business proposition than opening a restaurant.. Then along came LPFM.
