LPFM Filing Window Is Open

That's true but LPFM doesn't fit in so many places a station could fit a decade ago. Half the applications sounds about right.

The one in Boise Idaho is interesting since a high powered pirate's been operating on 97.3 for the past year from around the address listed.

Weather Alert Radio Network filed closed to 240 applications.

Someone wanna tell me who WARN is.. where its based, who its principals are? i dont see them when searching LMS and @Michi 's site, fccdata.org is inaccessible to any customer using Viasat as an ISP due to some DNS routing issue..... been going on like 2 years now but getting teeth pulled is more fun than dealing with Viasat's tech support

That's funny. Gee, where else can I find weather alerts via radio??? Hmmm.. Oh, wait! NOAA Weather Radio!
Talk about let's reinvent the wheel.

Who says WEather alerts is what theyd really run? they can call themselves anything they want and say theyll run certain progrmaming but unless certain programming is pledge as part of , i tink a points system to get the license.... they can run anything they want

I knew a "church"(on paper) that ran an lpfm in florida that did oldies

Dude, don't drink and post.
This smacks of the "Rock and Roll Preservation Society".

Me thinks it will be dismissed because of various issues within the app. This one will be among them. Not going to lose any sleep over it anyway. Too busy getting ready to celebrate my 8th year, as a LPFM provider, starting in February and purchase new gear for the office and station itself.

P.S. Thanks to @fybush for your response. I appreciate it.

Dan, the FCC will let one correct technical errors. But, I think he will be thrown out because of legal problems with the application. He has 100% of the assets and votes. That's the problem.
