LPFM granted in Dallas on 95.3

How weird. The app mentions KLTY, but they're clearly in the signal area of KHYI. They're sure to have interference issues.

The KLTY waiver is required because it is on a second-adjancent frequency to 94.9. They call it "LPFM" for a reason - "low power": the CP for this signal is only 70 watts at 15 meters above ground. From the proposed transmitter location near the I-35E/I-20 interchange, it will barely cover DeSoto, Lancaster and south Oak Cliff. KHYI will likely receive some interference on the southern fringe of its signal, but only outside of its protected contour.

If nothing else, it will slow down Ken Jones from
trying to broadcast Lancaster and Duncanville
football and basketball games from a transmitter
that is seventy miles away from those two cities
that also has 60 and 70 story buildings blocking
the path of the signal.
