LPFM SUCCESS STORY

Its been described as community radio, LPFM. Most are talking heads for particular groups.
Thats good. But great local community radio is the hallmark of WZFI- 98.5 in Bridgeton. This is
a unique and highly creative local format that Joe Burke has assembled that puts many a commercial
station to shame. Joe's insight into community activities, his programming resonates with
strong appeal to a community that appreciates and interacts with LIFT 98.5.
Driving through the region, it is clear that, were it not for its low power, the programming
assets rival those of some of the best commercial grade facilities.

Great work Joe! We're proud of your hard-core determination to support and defend what
good local radio should be. Much of the philosphies of WSNJ's original owner Ed Bold is
reflected in the work at LIFT-FM. A very unique and creative LPFM with its community
at its center.
