LPFM UPDATE

The announcement:

The Commission has announced LPFM will lead the agenda at its November 30th open meeting. The Commission will consider a Fifth Order on Reconsideration and Sixth Report and Order, which address the final procedures to approve more than 6,000 pending FM translator radio applications and implementation of the Local Community Radio Act


Hopefully a step in the right direction!
 
I wonder if any of us will still be alive when they discuss the Tenth Order on Reconsideration and Eleventh Report and Order.
 
In our litigous society, whichever of these two groups (translator operators vs LPFM'ers) feels they ended up with the short end of whatever "compromise" the FCC comes up with, will probably sue. Sad, but I dont see the end of this coming anytime soon.
