LRS should have streamed!

Stupid LRS should have streamed! What a sucky radio station! Mainline shouldn't have owned any rock stations or programmed one - I mean they specialize in urban radio for gosh's sake. Couldn't this station afford streaming or what? Any why doesn't anyone have an aircheck?

Mainline Inherited WLRS from Radio One via Blue Chip and who ever owned the station prior to blue chip after 2000. Who had the rock format on the station for the better part of this decade at 105.1

LRS is gone, period. They were great a long time ago and good/decent until about 3-4 years ago. They had been absolutely horrible for two or more years. They had been jockless for nearly a year and were nothing but a jukebox...a crappy one at that. Their old rock was usually not old rock I liked and their new rock was not always stuff I liked either. They drove off their core audience with the switch to "Everything That Rocks" and their split-rock format appealed to only a small demographic. What is your obsession with an aircheck and regrets off them not streaming?? They turned into an IPOD with the same 3-4 bumpers "Classic Rock..New Rock..Everything That Rocks"..... ahhhhh.

I wanted to hear them and this is my way of doing that since they changed.

What a dumb radio station, not even streaming to the public and even dumber that I cann';t get any memorabilia of any kind. What good is radio if you don't have something to remember it by?

Its not a requirement for all radio Stations to Stream. its up to Corperatate management if they want to stream there station. You just cant force a station to stream to the public. some owners dont want people listening online when the owners because of royalties on commercials cant air on the stream that air over the airwaves. thats why on streams you here stupid music bed or PSA's for the duration of the commercial breaks.

yes, the benchmark of quality radio is whether they send you memorabilia. huh?
what color is the sky in your world?

actually they were streaming...on the actual AIR SIGNAL for the last few weeks of existence. Still can't figure out WTF that was all about. There's no reason for memorbillia..THIS WAS NOT WLRS(the original) period. Simply a moved caller letter HOPING to suckle off the legacy of something that left A LOT of great memories in Louisville radio. Now PLEASE...bury the calls and lets move on thank you.
