Lubbock JACK's New Web site!

What a GROSS website. Whats even the point. Why put something up that is not even close to being complete? Here's one more thought on JACK? Do non-radio people even believe that they REALLY play want they want? Its just stupid at this point.

So, if JACK started up an AIRLINE... it would be "WE fLY ANYWHERE WE WANT"... NO, NO, NO,.... "WE LAND ANYWHERE WE WANT!"

It is better than what it was. On the older site, half of the links still didn't work. The site was out of date. On the homepage, it was still talking about upgrading the signal to serve Lubbock better.

The only thing I have against this website is that every page says "Coming soon!" Like you said, they might want to FINISH the website before publishing it.

One more thing that i dislike BOTH about the website and the station is: The Chuck Norris jokes. Is it really necessary to put Chuck Norris updates on their website? Chuck Norris jokes are old now. But then again, is it necessary to do Chuck Norris jokes in between songs on the radio (otherwise, i like the station because its one of the few that doesn't play the same stuff over and over)?

Other than that though, it looks 10 times better than the old site. If we give it some time, it'll look better. I just hope they do not neglect the site like they did before.

AHHH is not the quote at the end of your post from the KRUD Radio website??? I believe that was TradeMarked iirc...if not, its still funny as hell and TRUE!!!!!!! Hmmm I need to go visit KRUD.com...its been a while...
 
The quote is actually from Hunter S. Thompson (However, this has still NEVER been confirmed). So, as far as being trade mark etc... it's not. The quote has been taken and changed up many times to describe TV, FILM, THE MUSIC INDUSTRY etc... However, it truly seems to fit radio more then anything. Yet, I don't work in TV, FILM etc... so I imagine it could fit many different industries. But I still love it!
