As for surprises... not really. It was the ususal screwed up book. With shortages of books being returned etc... There were alot of things that didnt make any sense with these numbers. as usual. So, if you did supposedly well this book... you look at the numbers and move on. If you did supposedly bad this book... you look at the numbers and move on.
I wish one day the local RADIO COMPANIES would finally say enough is enough and stop paying the GREAT ARBITRON. They could easily take the money and pay people, good wages, to go door to door and even pay the people taking the surveys a decent fee and get back an actual survey. A survey that was at least closer to reality then ARBITRON could ever dream to be. ARBITRON is an archaic system. The only reason why ARBITRON is used, espically in a market like Lubbock, is for NATIONAL AD dollars. Thats it. The local clients aren't looking at numbers. However, if your cluster or company gets the majority of the income from NATIONAL AD SALES... then... you got to play the game.
That is... until a NEW GAME comes along.
