How's the battle between The Beat and Hot going? Who's sounding better?

im not sure which is doing better but in my opinion i think they both sound pretty bad. No offense to anyone that works in Lubbock radio but I have never been too impressed with Lubbock radio but will listen from time to time if I get tired of my CDs or something. When Hot 97.3 went on the air, I thought they sounded pretty good. Then after I came back to Lubbock near the end of the Summer, Hot was a mess. I have noticed lately that Hot 97.3 has had a few technical problems...particularly at around 10 o clock when they play slow songs, similar to 104.9 The Beat's "Quiet storm". I have noticed a few sound problems during that time. But hey, at least the Beat doesn't use a myspace for their radio station's website. I have no experience in the radio field but as a listener, I'm not sure which sounds better. I have to say they are equally bad. Seriously, I still hear Snap ya fangers at least once every hour on both stations.

My comment is this:
There's not enough non-urban dance music on the radio in Lubbock.

Wish the Movin' format would come here!
