So, the book comes out for Lubbock around mid August. Personally, I think the book continues to show how worthless it really is, but thats beside the point. Now, putting all your personal feelings toward any specific station, be them good or bad, a side and keeping in mind some stations have done some stuff differently this time around etc... what do you think will be the outcome?
 
Always an easy call with Arbitron. The male cells that were so under sampled the last sweep will fill naturally. Some will be over sampled to make up for the last time around, and females will once again scatter. This will allow whoever the male dominated stations are (FMX) to once again rise to the top.

bets anyone?
 
The sad thing is that ARBITRON is exactly like that. Yet we all pay BIG BUCKS to subscribe to their CRAP! You could take that same money and pay people a nice hourly rate to go door to door (you could also pay the people you survey as well) and you would get a survey that was 80 - 90 percent more accurate than ANY book that ARBITRON could ever put out.

Yet, we still go by the ridiculous and meaningless ARBITRON. I wish the industry would get some freaking guts and tell these useless morons, once and for all, that they are not needed any more.
