Lucas Prata "And She Said"

I think this song has the potential to be a decent sized hit, but outside of a handful of CHR's it really isn't getting much play. Granted part of it might be the regional effect since Lucas is from the area, but the song is in pretty heavy rotation on WBLI on Long island (about 60 spins 8th most played) and has been either # 1 or #2 in their most requested countdown for the last couple weeks. BLI also still has Cascada in high rotaion 96 plays 2nd most played, and has had Cascada in high rotation since early Jan, medium rotation prior to that. Z 100 dropped it for a short period of time, and picked it back up & now has it in medium rotation as does WSPK in Poughkkeepsie & WSPT Trenton. Fun 107 also has been playing the song quite a bit, around the same amount of spins BLI has. WPXY Rochester 7 WRHT greenville, NC are also playing the song (about 20 or so pkays each), but other than that no CHR's are palying it. KTU has the song in low rotation, P{arty 105 has it in fairly high rotation . Granted most of the plays are coming from the northeast & the NYC area which is where Lucas is from, but is their any reason why this track isn't getting more spins even from the other dance stations?? It could be a decent sized hit.

YES - It's playing in Nassau-Suffolk, Newburgh, New York, New Bedford, Trenton, Rochester, and further south in Greenville North Carolina, and now (just added) ... Tampa Florida ! It gives me the opportunity to once again declare that 93.3-FLZ is one of the great CHR-POP stations in the U.S. They have a balanced playlist that includes ALL types of hit music !

I would've thought that BPM had playing it for more than 6 months. The single was released last August. Hasn't Z-100 in New York been playing it for at least the past 6 months ?

I'll split the difference with you. They've been playing it for the past 4 months. They played it 23 times in March, 135 times in April, and less than 100 each in both May and June (so far).

Oh God, you mean some stations are just starting to play this "And she puked" again??

Lots of complaints on the c89.5 user forums about this track. Was way overplayed and is really annoying. It'll suck if that track comes back, Good thing there are some stations that won't play it =)
