Lucky The DJ might have a problem...

After today...This audio and video is getting posted everywhere!

This is an audio message left by Peak/KISS-FM Boise's air talent Lucky The DJ and Former Boise air talent at Wild 101, Bootleg Kev. Kev is now at "Hot 97.5" in Las Vegas. This audio is courtesy of You Tube poster "Ledgendary Stature". This audio is NOT SAFE FOR WORK! This is actually pretty disturbing and a controversy the #1 Radio Station in Boise (12+) doesn't need...

This was posted via my Blog earlier today:

Regarding the terrible cell phone message I left Kevin Boot Leg Kev during the weekend of 7/8/2010 I want everyone to know that I am sincerely sorry for my actions.
Unfortunately I had too much to drink and did what I consider one of the
stupidest things of my life. What I said was horrible, disgraceful, and not
becoming the person I am. I would like to publicly apologize to the staff
of 103.3 KISS-FM, Peak Broadcasting, and especially for the harm I have done
to Kevin Boot Lg Kev. Although I have repeatedly tried to contact him with a personal
apology, I don't blame him for not taking or returning my call. Everyone
makes mistakes, and I can assure you I have learned my lesson and will NEVER
act with such disregard for anyone again. I am so very sorry.
Sincerely,
Chris Stewart Lucky Tha Dj

Dear Peak Broadcasting,

I was provided with some disturbing audio from one of your DJ's at the Peak Broadcasting Boise Office, Regarding: 103.3 KSAS-FM "Kiss FM" Lucky The DJ (Chris Stewart)

While you are possibly aware of this audio clip, I feel that it is important for you to have a copy. WARNING, it is very CRUDE, I recommend listening in a Private location

Here is the description that accompanied the audio:

"This is an audio message left by Peak/KISS-FM Boise's air talent Lucky The DJ and Former Boise air talent at Wild 101, Bootleg Kev. Kev is now at "Hot 97.5" in Las Vegas. I have also heard of an incident that occurred with a former Peak Employee where "Lucky" came up behind this gentleman, and started "Bro-Raping" (as lucky called it) him. Later laughing and saying "sorry man I thought you were Jesse" and he went out the back door for a smoke.

This is not how an employee, to me, should behave. Impaired or not, there is no excuse for this behavior. An Employee represents his/her employer at all times, especially those who are in a public position such as a DJ on the Radio.

It is completely your decision, regarding Lucky The DJ, but my recommendation would be to teach him a lesson in respect and self control by letting Chris Stewart go. Hopefully some day, he will be a respectable employee of a company, and keep what is important in mind (His Job!).

Boise is a great place for Radio, I love the vast selection that is found on the AM & FM Dials. However, I do not condone or support stations that "over look" such disgraceful actions such as those presented. I will not support a radio station, or broadcast group that elects to not take any corrective actions in such a disturbing case.

Thank You for your time, I wish the Best for Peak Broadcasting of Boise, and ALL radio stations in the Boise Market.

Sincerely, Boise Radio

While I am glad a police report was filed on this, most likely nothing will come of it. Police in Vegas have bigger fish to fry.

However, the "drunk" excuse is not believable to me. Drunks don't speak with such clarity. I don't know what the real story is, but the caller does not appear to be drunk. He appears to be trying to have some fun by being outrageous. This is sad, and the individual should be held responsible, as should the media, who seem to to have been encouraging this type of behavior in recent years. Don't get me wrong, I am not blaming the media, but everytime we see something outrageous on TV or the net, it makes it more acceptable for others to do the same. This an unfortunate trend.
