Ludlow Porch is leaving

Ludlow was the Funseekers network. BTW Who owns the Funseekers network? I know Ludlow was at WSB and Cox originates a few syndicated shows. When I got out of radio, it was a good thing financially and personally. I am lucky I do not have a radio “bucket list”. I hope Ludlow does not have any regrets and has good health.

Funseekers is self-syndicated. Not part of a bigger conglomerate to my knowledge. At least for the last few years that we carried the network, they weren't even using satellite for distribution, but rather using Barix units (audio over IP). Prior to that they contracted out with a third-party for regular bird-based distribution.

Denny has been with Ludlow a long time, when I started at WGFS in Covington they carried Ludlow, and Deeny and George Crowley would come by the station every Friday to pick up the eqipment to do the Friday night High School football.

god bless ole' ludlow. he taught something i have used for over 20 years in radio. especially in a gm's office... "never to rassle with a pig. cuz you just get reaaaaally muddy...and the pig loves it."
