Lunch At Cap's On Friday 6/1/07 - Be There!

OK, we've talked about it, so now let's do it !

Lunch at Captain Humble's in Slidell next Friday, June 1 at noon. Everyone is invited and a good time is guaranteed to all.

I'll be there with 60's TIX DJ Bob Robin.

Make your plans now to be there for a classic lunch!

Reply so we can tell Cap to gather up chairs and tables.

Bob Walker

Would love to join everyone for that lunch. Please give my best to all and a big hug to "the bird."

Old boys and ladies of any age are welcome for a one-time gathering of experienced but possibly senile radio minds from radio's golden years gone by. Don't miss it!

I just spoke with Da Boss (wife for you single request-line trollers) and I think we're leaving for Tennessee at 3 on the 1st. That means I should be able to make it!

All Riggghhht Don...A quickie sammich will send you on your way nicely. It wouldn't be the same without you. If you're on a tight itinerary, bring Dawn & Tyler. I'll buy the fries.

Now we need to hear from Blur.

Got clearance to take an extended lunch so some of us from the Coast can drive over...da' Weerdo ready to reminisce with Cap's NOE wall of fame from the daze on Bienville in the 70's...

They're a couple so I'm sure he knows.

Is my buddy Fitzmorris really coming? That would be cool!

Blair, were you able to contact Cherie The Oldies Sweetheart and let her know about the lunch? She lives on the Northshore and probably could make it.

Looks like a helluva turnout expected so far!

I thought the timing might be short. I was his traffic guy before Katrina. It would have been good to see him again.

Ladies and gentleman, would it be ok if I attended?! I no longer work in radio, but I would love to meet those of you whom I never got to work with and made radio in this city a real treasure!!!

Sure, Jeremy. Everyone who wants to be part of a fun get together is invited and welcome...no matter if you're in radio, out of radio, never been in radio, or just love radio...come join in.
