Lunch at Cap's!

Mrs. Fury and I are cemetery freaks. We love to visit backwoods burial grounds and take note of names and dates. This past Saturday we were in the Slidell area poking around Bayou Liberty and Bayou Bonfouca. We stopped at Cap's to say hello and have a bite to eat. Our friend, Barbara, from Mandeville met us there. Here are some pictures we took that day. Cap looks great! http://ladayrides.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=234

As Cap would say, those pix are "Scrumocious!" Makes we wanna be there...tonight! I believe we need to start soliciting for best dates for our Spring gathering...suggestions??? Definitely after Jazz Fest...I'll suggest May 16 for the heck of it...or would you guys rather a mid-April date???

When is French Quarter Fest? I know it's somewhere right around Jazzfest. If I recall correctly, Jazzfest is the last weekend of April and the first weekend of May. If we can tap dance around those two events we should be fine on any other weekend in April or May.

April 11 will be 5-1/2 months since the last one and the weather should be real nice. Sounds good to me.

Sounds perfect. The strawberry fest is on the 4th of April and the Oak Alley fest is in March so we're ok with April 1th. FYI the Crescent City Classic & Gretna arts and Crafts Fest are on 4/11.

Crescent City Classic? Name any one of us who can run 13 miles. I'd rather clog an artery with a Cap's hot sausage poboy.
