I listned to her years ago before Phil Boyce fired her. She hasn't lost her rythm. Can't put my finger on it, but she does a great show on Sirius.

I don't recall her ever describing herself that way...would you care to provide details?

She is more of a free-form progressive, as she doesn't tow the dem party lines.

Years ago, long before her WABC days Lynn did a Saturday afternoon show on WBAI (Pacifica) and it was there where I heard her describe herself as an anarchist. I heard it myself not through a third party.

She's actually a mess politically. She's come out as a big supporter of Pat Buchanon years ago. That would support her own description because a liberal wouldn't support Buchanon.

The fact that he is on record as being less than sensitive to Israel and American Jews in general is telling. We are after all according to Buchanon Israel's "Amen Corner" in this country, not really loyal Americans and knowing that Lynn is from Jewish parentage herself one would have to make the assumption that Ms Samuels accepts Mr Buchanon's description as accurate, having never questioned such an outragous statement.

While she supports Buchanon, the liberal Ms Samuels also is involved with Matt Drudge. Hey a gal has to earn a living, but Drudge? I've gotten into web board debates with Ms Samuels about her lack of depth on certain subjects when she was still at WABC.

I'll admit to being middle of the road politically and not seeing her as much of a deep thinker. In fact, she thinks with emotions rather than facts. I will say that she's got the shtick down but lacks the depth to debate her points with any knowledge. We're all entitled to our own opinion of course but while she's OK for a laugh, like Frosted Flakes we take little nutritional value away from her table in the end.

Except where she's to the right of Pat Buchanan. Immigration, English-only, stuff like that.<P ID="signature">______________

I agree with much of what has been said of Lynn and her show. Her strength is that she is an independent thinker. Her enthusiasm, attitude, and "free-form" talk program is what is missing from not only New York radio but radio in general. She did an awesome weekend local show here in NYC and it is deeply missed with nothing to fill the void.
