Macon, GA is a very interesting situation when it comes to CW/My Network. Currently UPN airs on WGNM and is one of UPN's strongest markets in terms of ratings. The thing is, WGNM is owned by the Christian Television Network and airs religious programs the other 22 hours of the day. When CTN bought the station, they were contractually bound to continue to air UPN and based on the ratings, they have good reason not to change.
The UPN affiliation agreement ends in September and the station manager has already said they will be religion 24/7 at that point. Currently the only other option for CW is the 100+ cable only channel that airs The WB.
