MACON: "Peach" Gets All Twanged Up

Clear Channel, the company that took away Atlanta's first "Peach" branded station in favor of the "Lite" branding, ended Georgia's last Peachy-keen station, Peach 96.5 in Macon, and launched Country Hits at Midnight this morning.

Couple of corrections here: the 102.5 in Warner Robins is a 6kw signal and not a translator. WBML is on a translator on 105.9 simulcasting AM 900 WBML.

Yes, I understand, though "New Country" is competing with the FM translator; definitely not the AM signal.

For so long WDEN has been the only country station in middle Ga,there was that Cat Country for a little while,but it didn't last long,now WEN has competition in the market.
