I read that he was not terminated but his contract with Q95 was not renewed, I would assume he will still do his work with the Bob and Tom show. I think he is the host of the best of show's when they are on vacation.
You would think since he and Don Stuck was doing literally Double duty between there shows on Q and X they both been doing sports updates on WNDE for the last year. Shame Dog is gone. but i Guess Gunner is cheaper. and Ace is probly working cheap as the 2nd fiddle for Mark Patrick on WNDE
I've said this before, but unfortunately this all just shows that over-the-air broadcast radio's days are over. Quickly following will be over-the-air broadcast TV but it won't be their demise due to cable & their inclusion on most satellite systems.
What does everyone think about the blog stations that already are on the internet? It won't be long before being able to listen to them in one's car will be standard equipment.
Alextide a lot of stations these days are doing commercial free hours. Radio one does it on WNOU. Amp in detroit has commercial free monday. im not sure if WKQI has gone commercial free on mondays to compete or not.
Do listeners really care about commercial free hours? They can get commercial free days listening to ipods or online music streams. Radio needs to give listeners something more interesting than commercial free hours.
