I just saw a commercial that said coming this fall.......
Mad About You weeknights at Midnight. At first I thought it was for the U, but sure enough it was for Channel 23. It was a good show but it really premeired long after the shows of Me-TV's current line up. I wonder if this is going to be a new trend for this station. What does everyone think of Mad About You coming this fall to ME-TV?

I really didn't care for the show. Also I hope it doesn't add shows like that. It will turn into a TVLand. We all know what a sell out TVLand is. I did see the three stooges are going to be on METV and Perry Mason and a few other shows. Does anyone have the line up yet?

MARK THIS AS THE FIRST STUPID MOVE ME-TV HAS MADE!!!!

If this happens I will be very disapointed. Other than the fact Mad About You is a crap yuppie show, it's just not from the 50's-80's.

The funny thing is this: What would get higher ratings at Midnight? Mad About You or Three Stooges? Of course the stooges would, so it's a dumb move from that standpoint as well.

You know what, maybe the company that syndicates some of the shows on 23 & 26 is making them take Mad About You as part of a package.

From the commericals I have seen The Munsters at 8:30am and Mary Tyler Moore moves to 10:30pm weekdays.

It also appears Good Times may show up. But Me-TV also had blips from Diff'rent Strokes and that show never showed up.

I was surprised to see they removed Archie Bunker's Place from the 8:30pm slot and replaced it with another airing of All In The Family. Granted the show wasn't much but since they are going to change over anyway you'd think they would let Archie Bunker's Place run out.

They are also having a B&W Sunday with Burns & Allen and Jack Benny. Jack Benny was part of the original Me-TV line up when it first came about and played at noon. But soon it was discarded for a double run of The Honeymooners

I think Mad About You is also a mistake. I would have rather seen something like Golden Girls which for some reason was never a popular rerun in Chicago. Or even Empty Nest would've been better.<P ID="signature">______________
