WMTV used to have a 24-hour cable weather channel in the 80s?
 
I found an ad in the January 17, 1982 Wisconsin State Journal for Complete Channel TV. There, WMTV TeleWeather is described thusly: "This weather information service gives you the current weather conditions and the daily forecast - 24 hours a day." A bare bones operation, obviously, but cutting edge for Madison in the early 1980s.

Huh... reminds me of the WCCO Weather Channel that was also on cable in the 80s and early 90s.
