Has anyone seen the Confessions tour? It just rolled into Phoenix, this week and thought it be interesting to see what Dance fans have to say about a show which is the most mainstream dance concert I think I have ever seen. Some key hi lites for me:Loved the Lucky Star/Hung Up section, was really HOT and having the audience sing Hung UP back had the whole crowd going NUTSSorry was a HUGE surprise for me. I liked this song but didn't know I liked it so much until I heard it live. That song just is awesome live!La isla bonita - Was cool to hear the new dancy version of this song and also liked the new dancy version of Like a VirginI think all in all this show was awesome. I got my tix on ebay a weekend before the show and saved almost 50% so not bad at all from my wallet :) Anyone else see the show?

I saw the show last night at MSG in NYC!
Awesome!
Certainly a dance fan's dream! Given the sales of her new album, the record sold out concerts...there are 5 in NYC. alone I am amazed at the lack of airplay of her new hits.
I have yet to hear one of her songs on a CHR station in any part of the country.
I think if it weren't for KTU in New York this market would be practially devoid of any Madonna music!

She is an awesome entertainer and awesome show though!!!

I caught the show in Boston this past thursday July 6th....damn is she awesome live...loved the Disco Inferno/Music mix as well...and of course her hangin on a cross singin live to tell...she's always awesome in concert...It was a great dance concert...i still think the reinvention tour topped this one for me...i'll always love vintage madonna

I went to Sunday's show at The Fleet Center (I'll always call it the Fleet Center, no need to correct me LOL)

Overall, it was a good show. She's still got and can still put it together. I hadn't gotten Confessions On A Dance Floor yet so I didn't know alot of the songs, but I do want to get the album now. However, she really should have put in more of her older songs, seeing as her fan base spans a wide age group. And her not dong Vogue or Into The Groove was kinda dumb...If her songs were ranked, I'm sure they would be in the top 5 of all her songs.

And doing Live To Tell while on the cross was just too much. And she had to of lip-saync (?) the first verse, because that number total kept climbing up to the 12,000,000 mark, and is was perfectly musically timed to stop at a certain point.

She didn't talk much, after like 4 songs, she finally said "Hello Boston!!!" and then started singing again. then after a couple songs she's like "Thank You Boston, It's great to be in Boston, Massachusetts" Almost as if she had to remind herself where she was...then she told a story of how lucky she was to be performing for her fans. And that was it for the talking, until Hung Up where was going from left to right telling us to yell back a few thousands times "Time Goes By...So Slowly" And that was it. No Good Night, No Thank You...Just end of song, then end of show.

And don't know if this was in all her shows, but during I Love New York she puts in "And if you don't like it, go back to Texas and s**k George Bush's d**k!" WHOA!

I don't even think there were as many gay people at any Pride parade as there were at the show :) , but overall I liked it, and I would definitely see her again

She didn't incorporate as many old songs into this tour because of the last tour which she opened with Vogue and closed with Holiday with burning up, material girl, into the groove, papa don't preach, frozen, like a prayer, express yourself, music, don't tell me, american life, nobody knows, crazy for you...forgive me if i forgot any....that was The Greatest Hits/ Reinvention Tour...In that one which was in Worcester mind you, she said hello Boston and sang for the rest of the show without interruption...she never ends with a thank you

I was at the first Philly show last night and she was a bit more talky than what I had expected from this board. She berated a couple in the third row for not being enthusiastic enough: "You've paid enough for third row seats, so act like you've got them!" :D

No complaints about the song selections, but it would have been nice if she would have thrown in the dance mix of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina." Loved the mash-up of "Disco Inferno" and "Music."

And don't know if this was in all her shows, but during I Love New York she puts in "And if you don't like it, go back to Texas and s**k George Bush's d**k!" WHOA!

She's been saying that line since her Coachella performance back in April.

I think if it weren't for KTU in New York this market would be practially devoid of any Madonna music!

Has KTU been playing "Get Together?" The few times I've recently listened to the station, I only time I've heard the latest single on there was when it was used in a H&M commercial.
