She announced today that her next album, due out in October, will be ALL DANCE!
I love when she blantantly admits that she's DANCE...
Funny how the most famous woman in the world is a dance artist...then the next most famous female dance artist is less popular than a news anchor lol
Maybe we can see some nice collaborations!!

o ya and I met her yesterday :) it was great!

She won't have a hit record.

I can assure you of that. She would sound way outta place even on CHR/Pop especially KIIS here in LA.

She should have embraced the reggaeton sound, as she was always one to embrace new sounds(pre whatever religious crap she embraced). But no, she'd rather do Ray of light 6.

Totally amazing.<P ID="signature">______________

Are you talking about Madonna? That's quite a limb to go out on. I think she's had one album out that didn't go Platinum.

Based on what she's done in the past--and all the stuff she's overcome--it may be somewhat naivé to underestimate the woman.

To put things in perspective, take a look at <a href="http://www.keithers.com/madonna/albumhistory.html">this</a href> and then take a look at <a href="http://www.keithers.com/madonna/mchart4.html">this</a href>.

No offense, but this is one of the dumbest posts you've ever posted. Madonna doing Reggaeton??! Have you seen Mariah Carey do it? Or Britney Spears? Why in the world would Madonna put out a crappy circus sounding Reggaeton, which no one will care about in 6 months?
Madonna has always been a Dance friendly artist. She's also Adult Contemporary friendly on her ballad, Rhythmic friendly on some of her ballads, and ALWAYS extremely Pop friendly.

I find this whole argument to be strange since, last week, it leaked out that she's working on a rock album. I guess time will tell...

Madonna and rock... no way. It's been reported that she's working with some new producers that she's never worked with before, but whoever's passing the rock story around is interpreting that sign totally the wrong way. I could see a Killers/Caesars-type of production happening, but anything other than that resembling rock... no way.

She's many things now..an artist, an author, actress (LOL) but above all...she's BUSINESS...she knows the $$$$ is in her music

LOL imagine Madonna doing reggaeton? Oye Mi Kabbalah? rofl

If Madonna and rock were meant to be, wouldn't it have happend with Dan MCclian's song "The day the music died"?

Perhaps what was meant was that she's doing another dance COVER of a ROCK song?
Perhaps an even heaver rock tune being re done into dance this time?
