I may sound negative here... and if I do, please forgive me.
The song is indeed hot.. smokin' hot. I have heard all of the remixes, my fave so far has been SDP DUB MIX... However, there have been A LOT more better dance songs released this year from different artists, that did absolutely NOTHING... and NONE of those songs have gotten the exposure that this Madonna song has recieved. I do know that it is Madonna, which is the reason this song has blown up... if it was the same exact song by Alison (just pulled this name out of nowhere).. then it wouldnt be doing (BLEEP) right now.... To me.. the song sounds just like any other hot dance track released this year from other artists.... but it's Madonna, so it's blowing up... AND THEY KNOW HOW TO PROMOTE IT. tHEY ARE PROMOTING IT JUST LIKE A POP SONG.
Could you imagine where this Dance Hits format could be, if all artists were getting this much exposure for each of their releases??? - the mainstream audience LOVES this type of music (this song is All over MTV, all over the entertainment shows, all over the ipod commercials, all over the ring tone commercials, all over the magazines, IT'S ALL OVER EVERYWHERE!.. this is what frustrates the hell out of me about the Dance Hits format.
The high quality dance songs released this year... get lost in the shuffle.. and the Madonna song gets people going crazy. The mainstream audience likes this sound.. they actually love the sound... but the dance music does not get promoted worth (BLEEP) to the mainstream audience... it's why we only have like 5 dance stations left in the us.
Like I said.. I love Madonna.. I love the song.. but it just pisses me off a little that this song is making so much noise.. and others arent.... This song is indeed good for this format.. but we need about 100 other songs like this to make a huge impact.
