MADONNA WILL SANG AT THE SUPER BOWL

hmmm.....now that you mention it, her career HAS sort of been one long continuous
wardrobe malfunction

What's this I hear that Madonna and Will Smith sang at the Super Bowl? ???

Madonna has calmed down so much, since she had kids, I can't imagine anything controversial happening. Her voice is good, she's no Minnie Riperton, but who among us is? :)

CBS? NBC? Who is carrying the Superbowl this year?

Since FOX broadcast the game in 2011 and CBS broadcast the game in 2010, NBC should be next.

NBC has Super Bowl XLVI from Indianapolis. The rotation after that is CBS (New Orleans) and then FOX (East Rutherford, NJ).

Actually I was thinking of her coffee table book.
Has David Eckstein had some sort of wardrobe malfunction?

Since when does Madonna represent football? NBC had better hope that Madonna doesn't do one of her famous stunts (i.e. French kissing Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera on the MTV Awards in 2004) and NBC having to pay the bill for her antics. Hopefully she'll keep it clean but with her anything is possible so NBC had better have their checkbook handy.

And luckily we didn't get Madonna's imitator Lady GaGa as half-time entertainment just be thankful for that.

GaGa is too controversial. They are trying to go with someone who is MILDER and less
likely to make waves.

And the trend of having has-beens performing at the Super Bowl continues.... ::)

That's true, absent a couple songs, Madonna has been mostly M.I.A. in the past decade.
She used to sing.........now she just sangs.

One could easily ask the same of Faith Hill, who sings the Sunday Night Football theme song. Or, for that matter, the artist who inspired that very composition, Joan Jett.

Frankly one of the best halftime performances I have seen recently was Bachman-Turner Overdrive during
last November's Grey Cup CFL championship game.

For a bunch of old dudes they rocked it really, really well.
Don't know if they were chosen because the CFL wanted to maintain a distinct Canadian
flavour to the halftime show, or perhaps they were just the only act willing to accept an
outdoor gig in Edmonton the last week of November.
