According to Billboard Radio Monitor, its up 214 spins this week(Ending November 27th) and its picking up airplay adds at these stations:

KPWR/Los Angeles
KBFM/McAllen
KCAQ/Oxnard
KDON/Salinas
KIKI/Honolulu
KKSS/Albuquerque
KVEG/Las Vegas
KVYB/Santa Barbara
WPOW/Miami
KZFM/Corpus Christi
XHMORE/San Diego

These stations join the following reporters, who already jumped on it:

XHTO/El Paso
KPRR/El Paso
KYLD/San Franciso
KLUC/Las Vegas
KXJM/Portland, Ore.
WNVZ/Norfolk
WBBM/Chicago
WWKL/Harrisburg

Hmmm..it looks like we can throw the "These Rhythmics won't play Dance" theory out the window.

Thanks for the report Robert... This is something I have said for a while, and that is, that it will take a Popular Mainstream artist doing a Dance Hit, to get Dance back on the radio and Mtv again, and that is what it took, because it happened...... BOUT TIME...Id say Thanks again Robert, for your accurate lists of stations playing the song.

REALLY? I can't remember how long it's been since Power played a Madonna track in regular rotation. And it's been almost a decade since Power 106 played SOME Dance in rotation hasn't it? Even though Power 106 started to lean on Hip Hop back in 93-94, in 1996 they were playing records like Planet Soul's "Set U Free" in heavy rotation.

> KBFM/McAllen
> KCAQ/Oxnard
Wow, been a while since I've heard of this station playing anything non-Rhythmic.

> KDON/Salinas
> KIKI/Honolulu
I-94 huh? See my comments on Oxnard-Ventura's Q-104.7

> KKSS/Albuquerque
> KVEG/Las Vegas
I believe this is the first non Urban record ever to be added to this station.

> KVYB/Santa Barbara
> WPOW/Miami
Finally, a bit of Dance back on Power 96. Hopefully the first of many to come.

> KZFM/Corpus Christi
> XHMORE/San Diego
See my comments on Hot 97.5 Las Vegas.

This is no surprise as KLUC even has Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" in pretty high rotation

B-96 was one of the first Rhythmics to play this one. see my comments on Power 96...

I'm still scratching my head over this one. I did post over at the Los Angeles board that Power 106 may need to regroup before their 20th anniversary in January(2006), and since they did help fuel Madonna's career in the Jeff Wyatt days, maybe they are going back to its roots. Hopefully she might do a testimonial like Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Eminem are doing in those promos they are airing.

Actually they have "Die Another Day" in gold/recurrent.

When it comes to the three Rhythmics in Honolulu, you'll never know what they'll play next, and KIKI is no exception.

Actually, they played Dirty Vegas' "Days Go By" and Daniel Beddingfield's "Gotta Get Through This" back in 2002.

Lets hope it does.

That one was a surprise as well. Usually I would think XHTZ would jump on Madonna, but given Blazin' 98.9's challenged ratings in the last several books maybe they're testing the broadening waters a bit.

Both stations seem to be on a Dance kick lately, especially KPRR, which just added Aaron Smith's "Dancin'" to its playlist.

> > KYLD/San Franciso

WiLD must trying to fill the mainstream void:They also added Fall Out Boy's "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" to its playlist.

When your radio market has no Mainstream Top 40 like Las Vegas, chances are that a Rhythmic like KLUC can get away with covering that base.

Well that was a given, especially when your competition is already starting to make inroads in the Windy City.

I think B96 was almost the first in the country to play "Hung Up", this and D.H.T. "Listen to Your Heart" (dance version) in the same month. WOW.

Makes me think back to the late 90's to 2000 when B96 was a great mix of Pop, Dance and Hip Hop. Hearing Alice Deejay, Amber, Freestylers, Sonique even Chicane feat. Bryan Adams (Don't Give Up)was in rotation in 2000, along with the bubble gum pop craze of late 90's with NSYNC, BSB, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilara, 98 Degrees and then some Hip-Hop and R&B like Eminem, TLC, etc. I miss B96 from around the turn of the century.

Per Mediabase spin reports, KYLD gave "Hung Up" one spin the day it was sent out to radio and has not touched it since.

Has either of Philly's Rhythmic stations been playing it? Wish this track would get more love from Philly radio.
