I'm still scratching my head over this one. I did post over at the Los Angeles board that Power 106 may need to regroup before their 20th anniversary in January(2006), and since they did help fuel Madonna's career in the Jeff Wyatt days, maybe they are going back to its roots. Hopefully she might do a testimonial like Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Eminem are doing in those promos they are airing.

Actually they have "Die Another Day" in gold/recurrent.

When it comes to the three Rhythmics in Honolulu, you'll never know what they'll play next, and KIKI is no exception.

Actually, they played Dirty Vegas' "Days Go By" and Daniel Beddingfield's "Gotta Get Through This" back in 2002.

That one was a surprise as well. Usually I would think XHTZ would jump on Madonna, but given Blazin' 98.9's challenged ratings in the last several books maybe they're testing the broadening waters a bit.

Both stations seem to be on a Dance kick lately, especially KPRR, which just added Aaron Smith's "Dancin'" to its playlist.
> > KYLD/San Franciso
WiLD must trying to fill the mainstream void:They also added Fall Out Boy's "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" to its playlist.
> > KLUC/Las Vegas
> This is no surprise as KLUC even has Green Day's "Wake Me Up

When your radio market has no Mainstream Top 40 like Las Vegas, chances are that a Rhythmic like KLUC can get away with covering that base.

Well that was a given, especially when your competition is already starting to make inroads in the Windy City.
