Maestro problems

We just installed The Maestro system in our studios. No one here seems to know:

a. what key will fade the current event and play the next event?

b. How to create a rotator cart using already established carts?

I get the feeling that we have a new NASCAR race car capable of doing 200 mph, but our crew can only figure out how to get up to a 100mph.

Get rid of Maestro and go with something else.

Seriously... I've been using Maestro at my station for 3 years, and hate every second of it. I'm not sure if there is a "Fade and Go" button... it might be one of the "F" keys.

When I run live, I'll rotate through the audio channels and mix on the board. When automation runs... it's just straight through Channel 2 the whole time.

We had Maestro when I was in Savannah. Cumulus opted to get rid of that piece of crap. You may want to give Cumulus a call in Savannah, and since you're in Brunswick ,talk to Robert Coombs the chief engineer. I know he knew a lot about Maestro. Cumulus went with their own program and it works great.

Hope you are well Joe.
