Magia 980

That's good for New London. But the fact remains that New London has a smaller Hispaninc Population than New Haven, but New Haven has been without aSpanish formatted station since La X WXCT 1220 AM was sold to Quinnipac 10 years ago. I think when CC dumped Standards from WAVZ they should've went Spanish instead of Fox Sports, which has since been changed to progrssive talk.<P ID="signature">______________

Is Citadel LMAing WSUB 980 to someone else? I can't think of any stations that Citadel owns that are Spanish; the Citadel site doesn't list any that still exist.

And also, what is the Spanish population of New London? If it is at all significant, I'd be surprised that there is any station there at all. Though, if it is LMAd, then that last statement wouldn't matter.

Roughly 20% of the population of the City of New London (amounting to over 5,000 people) was Hispanic according to the 2000 census. In the County of New London over 5% were Hispanic amounting to over 13,000 people. Also, I'm sure the population has grown in the past 5 years.

KPZK 1250 in Little Rock , AK is Mexican.
So isn't KINB 105.3 in Oklahoma City

So they have a couple of Mexican stations.
No Spanish but it's not too far off...
