Magic 101.9 needs to pick up the John Tesh show

I think Magic 101.9 New Orleans needs to pick up the John Tesh show, especially if 103.3 in Baton Rouge will no longer be carrying it with its "Diva" format. I have e-mailed Steve Suter, the music (and I believe also program) director, about this; and he has yet to respond to me. I've listened to Tesh's show out of Baton Rouge, and I like some of the advice he gives, especially from health bits he passes along. Any comments?

I like John Tesh's show. I think it gives good info and avoids that whole sappy approach.

According to http://www.crescentcityradioconnection.com/station.cfm?id=15 , The PD is Andy Holt.

You may be able to pick it up from 93.7 in Biloxi depending upon where you are at in New Orleans...

Here is a list of all stations playing Tesh BTW : http://www.tesh.com/radio/stations.asp

He charges for his webstream on his website, But a secret way around that may be to check the feeds from the Canadian stations (that may carry the show online) who usually webcast everything.....

I like Tesh's show too. I learn a lot of interesting things. Just tonight, I found out that a shrimp's heart is in its head! But I digress.

Nope, WLMG reports Andy Holt as PD and Steve Suter As MD to Radio and Records for it's Airplay report to them.

Most Radio stations (with a currents playlist) in the New Orleans,Baton Rouge, and Shreveport report with some of the other stations in Louisiana reporting their most played playlists...

If anyone wants to know: Go to the radio and records site, format, pull down format and box should be on the side for the callsign for the list...

I applaud you on this Golden Eagle Boy!

Sadly, unless something drastic has happened D-Bitch runs nights on 93.7 out of Biloxi, and CC owns that station, so getting tesh on there might be a bit of a chore.

Magic 93.7 does carry Tesh's weekend show from noon-1500 on Sundays.

First, I caution you on using the term D-B****. There are women posters here and that may not earn you any points. Anyhow, there are Clear Channel stations that play Tesh, like San Francisco's KIOI, Mobile-Pensacola's WMXC (Lite Mix 99.9) and Little Rock's KMSX (Mix 94.9). In the case of WMXC, Tesh's site says it's on Saturday mornings from 6-9 and Lite Mix's site shows they play Delilah.

Actually, it's midnight to 5a.
