Magic 102.1 is now....

Yes. Well, they had some polka shows, anyway. So did the one down in El Campo.

Unless something has changed recently, KULP 1390 El Campo still has a polka show on the weekends.

I still like to listen to KULP when I go through El Campo. If you can put up with the buzz in the audio when the mike is on. They lost their most popular polka host a few years ago; under rather mysterious circustances.

KULP plays polka for an hour every morning Mon thru Fri and for six hours on Saturday mornings. In southeast Texas, you can still catch a lot of polka on KULM Columbus and KTXM in Hallettsville.

I listened to MJ 102 yesterday when I was able to pick it up. I liked what I heard. Wonder if this will repeat every year.

Its being discuss on the Urban Urban AC board. More than likley yes. MJ birthday is in Aug. so Im sure KMJQ will do it again

Yeah! Yeah! A Polka station. Just like the one we used to have in Rosenberg, back in the good old days of real radio. ;D
And that Polka station was on 98.3 It would constantly fade in and out around Sealy with then Kiss 98.5. I thought that Polka stations COL was Columbus.
Before that it was Country.

It's back to Country KULM 98.3

Wow, how more irrelevant can you get with discussing polka music in a post about an urban paying tribute to MJ? I give the thumbs up to close this forum.
