Magic 105.3

Cox adds music to Magic's playlist. Artists added so far- The Fugees, Nicki French, Lou Bega, Nickelback, Vanessa Williams, Macy Gray and others. Sounds like Magic is trying to snag some listeners from KQXT.
 
Those adds aren't going to endear magic to the upper end of their target demo. They will separate Magic from Jack more clearly, though.

Those Cox people at Magic still don't get it. Very confused. It's so obvious what artist they should play. But i'll be damned if i help them. Let those arrogant people wallow in there own mess.
 
Actually...all of those artist were played on Magic in the past. Back when they had ratings I mean. Ever since Robert Jogn arrived that station has been in a state of free fall. The morning show is aweful as is the rest of the staff. The station hasn't been good since 2001-2002!!!!
 
While I do not live in San Antonio, I look forward to listening to Magic 105.3 everytime I pass through. I have worked with both Robert John as Katrina Curtiss. Both are class individuals and good broadcasters. Robert John took control of an Oldies station in Columbus, Ohio and did wonders with it. If Magic 105.3 is having problems, it is not with him.

Bingo! Can you say C-O-X? Whoever is hiring the lame talent on Magic should be fired immediately.
 
I'm not from SA so forgive me but, is the afternoon girl on six hours live? That's just too long to be on the air, especially every day.
 
Actually...Magic has been in a constant state of free fall ever since the last PD left. That was the last time that station had ratings. From 96 to 2002 Magic Rocked!

Robert John sounds constipated and Katrina is aweful! Mike Roberts was fired from Magic for sounding like crap. Boring!!!!!
