I was flipping through the dial and came upon Magic. I noticed Heather Lynn is no longer there because she has gone to J 93.3 and some new lady is doing mid-days. I hit the station's website and Uncle Rich is no longer listed. Uncle Rich please say you are still there!
 
I have it on good authority from an inside source that says Uncle Rich is changing stations. My source works inside the halls of Magic 98.1.
 
People like you sicken me. You always think you know everything. Why do you always have to be spreading filth on this board? why should we believe your rumors about Uncle Rich?

Yes Josh. I am leaving to go to a new station.

I am proud and extremely happy to announce that I will be joining Chuck and his crew at Bear 92.5. I'll start on the air in the next couple of weeks doing afternoons 3-7. After doing the morning shows on Magic 96.7 and Magic 98.1 since 1991, I am excited to do afternoons so that I can sleep in. You can only imagine how happy I will be to ride Mr. Moby's coattails. If I can keep half his morning listeners in the afternoon, then things should go just fine. I'm also happy about doing a new format. I'm a little burned out on the AC/Mix/Top 40/Pop I've done since starting in radio in 1985.

I'll miss my family at Magic tremendously. But hey, most of that family has already moved on. I really thought I would be the last one standing. Now that falls to Benji and Jackie. I hope they make it.
 
Congrats Uncle Rich. I know its had been rough at magic the past few month with the constant change. I know you'll do great. I will be able to hear ya even clearer now since the bear gets in Carrollton.
 
Looking forward to working with Skinny again. He has really been a blessing for Chuck helping get the programming up to date with all the new technology. Skinny has been able to set up the automation for their sports programming and even has the system ready to voicetrack.

The only real problems for Skinny and me is that neither of us are skinny anymore. But, hey, we are going to have some fun! ;D
 
Skinny has been helping out with the Prophet conversion at Album 88 too (thanks Tom ;D), but I've been out of the loop when he's been in the office.
