Magic 98.9

they have a much better music mix than before, and Staci Bartrow is doing such a good job, what ya think Cooter Skessley,,

Well,....Scooter Lesley, you just Hate Magic 98.9...for some reason. Wrongo,...as usual, and nothing could be further than the truth. It's not like Clear Channel is gonna wake-up anytime soon,....and pasteurize MY102 from Horse Manure....into anything worth a listen! So,...I am hopeful for Entercom,....but they are draggin' their heels! Acquiring Sherrie Taylor is a +plus! The woman knows what she's doing, but one smart one inside a chicken coop, full of lay-less hens, ain't gonna produce enough eggs! The first Big mistake, as I have harped on before.....was allowing Lee Alexander to get unhappy enough to resign. Poor management, along with collective abuse, and "No One".....had the good sense to head it off,....and fix it!
It's like the Captain of the Titanic, telling Jack & Rose....Oh, we're just stopping for ice.

Magic

I think magic is doing better. They need to add some more 90s/early 00's music to their playlist instead of 80s and now. Once that happens they will be good. I do think that they need to get a good morning show crew that is local to compete with my 1025

Reception of 98.9 into the Charlotte, N.C. Listening Area Totally SUCKED today. I didn't check SKIP Conditions, but I was clearly surprised to heard Magic 98.9 covered up by another Radio Station. Steve.

In reply to the above report by Steve Gates, I'm a bit puzzled. It was understanding, as well many others that WSPA-FM's least problem/problems was coverage.
If there are any Engineers out there, please clarify....for the all of us.

PS: Steve, tell your brother , Bill....that I still have Windows XP on this unit,....and I'm Pisssssssed!

Due to summer tropo conditions. Bad intererence on East coast this morning for radio/TV signals, as reported on another forum. But I personally would prefer to listen to 102.9 the Lake, or 107.9 the Link. Magic 98.9 is a tired format, but perhaps they are somewhat improving.

magic 989

I think Magic 98.9 should switch to a format similar to 102.9 The Lake in Charlotte. It would be more of a variety and would compete more with chuck fm and my 1025. They should still keep the christmas format during the holidays, but this way it would add a-lot more to the playlist instead of the same songs they play every day.

That must have been it - Reception has been solid since then. They definitely have a different format these days. Steve.

Alright. Let me see...hmmmmmm? Marv, bring me my soapbox, the Black Hat(it always seems to fit!), and the cat of nine shares. It's time to beat some Proper Programming into some of these alleged PD's; a quick music add class for the AC format. Yeeeessss, it is I,...Scooter Lesley,...where the mere mention of my name causes Consultants to soil their undergarments, and huddle 'neth the desk, inside the cubical that they dwell in.

CHICAGO XXXVI (36) is the band's new studio album. The new single, entitled "Now", is a mid-tempo, consistent to the band's patented sound.
A prefect add for any AC formatted station. Follow my lead here, and grant this record some serious airplay.
