Magic going all 80s?

It used to be that everytime I'd tune to 105.3 it would be some Unkle Cracker song, but now it's usually an 80s song. Seems like they're playing a lot more 80s music than before. The trouble is, that there are a lot of 80s songs they don't play that JACK-FM does; it's the same tired out 80s songs Magic has been playing for years. So what's the deal with these "decade" stations? I say decades becasue Magic markets themselves as the best of the 80s, 90s, and today.

Looks like Magic is trying to compete with Jack. Mix/Dallas is doing the same thing too.<P ID="signature">______________
